We watched costume presentations from 2009 carnival mas camps and the girls voted on their favorite one. The girls listened to the pulsating rhythms of steel bands and the latest 2009 soca releases. The highlight of the day was the Caribbean spoken word performances in the garden. We planted beautiful pink and white flowers and rewarded our hardwork with a pizza picnic in Prospect Park.
